You say you love me

My Love, do you love me?
Yes of course, do you doubt?

My Love, can you lend me an ear?
Of course, even my heart, why ask?

My Love, do you like my whisper in your ear?
Of course, it turns me on.

My Love, would you survive without me?
Yes, but it would be boring, why ask?

My Love, do you enjoy breaking my heart?
No, in fact I have never, have I?

My Love, you are attached to that phone,
You pamper and wipe it each time,
Since I came, not once has it escaped your grip,
I asked you how much it cost, you said a fortune,
I don't know how much I cost.

My love, I asked you to lend me an ear,
And you lent me an ear (and a heart too)
You lent me, yes, you lent me,
By dropping one earphone,
Then replaced it after a while.

My Love, I whispered in your ear,
You cringed, as if I spit mosquitoes,
Your skin tensed, your shoulders rose,
Your blood rushed,
I withdrew, I didn't want to kill you with a cardiac arrest.
I can see your phone lacks even a single scratch,
When my heart beats with caution,
The wounds may open up,
It has been scratched and scathed by you,
I would't want it to beat with more breaks,
It may eventually break down.

You say you would be bored without me,
How many times have I laughed alone,
And waited for you to laugh,
Only to hear your giggle,
Not for my silly joke,
But because a stupid cartoon popped up in your whatsapp group.
Let me leave through that door,
And give you time with your true Love,
I wish you two a happy ever after
